Arrival in GUWAHATI & Transfer to HAFLONG → GUWAHATI to HAFLONG :- 7h 45 m (334 km)
Once you receive a pickup from the Guwahati airport/railway station, you will be transferred to HAFLONG . Relish the scenic views of hills and tunnels all this way. On reaching HAFLONG , check in at your homestay, sit back and relax. Overnight stay at homestay in HAFLONG .

Exploring HAFLONG.
Post breakfast, explore some of the nearby places of Jatinga such as: Ethnic Village: A manmade marvel by the Tourism department where one will get to see the blend of different cultures and traditions of the local tribal communities of Dima Hasao. Take a look at their traditional dorms and huts and know the stories behind such a lifestyle. Visit Jatinga village, known for the bird phenomenon, and the Jatinga Bird Watching Point. Day Trip to Maibong & Local Experiences
Post Breakfast, you can take a day trip to Maibong, an ancient capital with historical significance. Maibang: This town was the capital city of the old Kachari Rulers between the 16th and 18th centuries.The relics which were sculptured and carved during that time period has been preserved in a museum of Haflong District. Located in the hilly region of the Mahur River, the little town of Maibong enjoys a lot of tourist attention as it is located only 44.6 kms from Haflong. Visit the Stone House, check for the inscriptions and Return to Haflong by the evening and Explore the local artisan's market and enjoy the vibrant culture of Haflong and try some local cuisines.
