Day 1
Arrival in GUWAHATI and transfer to SHILLONG → GUWAHATI to SHILLONG :- 3 hr (98.2 km)
Begin your enchanting Meghalaya journey with your arrival at Guwahati Railway Station or Airport, where our local representative will warmly welcome you. From here, you will be transferred to Shillong by private vehicle. The scenic journey from Guwahati to Shillong takes approximately three hours. En route, make a refreshing stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake), surrounded by lush green hills and serene landscapes. Take some time to admire the tranquil beauty of the lake and capture memorable photographs. Upon arrival in Shillong, begin your sightseeing with a visit to Shillong Peak, one of the best viewpoints in the region, offering panoramic views of Shillong and its surrounding hills. Continue to Elephant Falls, where you can enjoy a short walk and admire the cascading waters surrounded by greenery.
