    After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Bum La Pass - a border pass between India's Tawang district in Arunachal Pradesh and China's Tsona County in Tibet, located at an altitude of 15,200 ft (4,600 m) in the Himalayas. Next you will visit Sangestar Tso Lake (Madhuri Lake) - a high-altitude alpine lake in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. It's located on the route from Tawang to Bum La Pass, near the Indo-China border, at an elevation of over 12,165 ft (3,708 m) above sea level. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and has crystal-clear waters that partially freeze in winter.The lake is named after Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, who filmed a song sequence for the movie Koyla there, which led to its fame. It's also culturally significant to the local Monpa people. After that you will visit places -Gorichen Peak,the highest peak of Arunachal Pradesh and it is located between Tawang and West Kameng districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Situated at an altitude of 22,500 feet above sea level, this peak is roughly 164 kilometre from Tawang. Next you will proceed to Gorsam Chorten; the oldest monument situated around 80km from Tawang town, good scenic place and less crowded as very few tourist visit this place.     Today is going to be one of the most exciting days of your 12-days Arunachal and Meghalaya Trip. You will be walking to the bio-engineering marvel also known as the living root bridge or jingkieng nongriat (double-decker living root bridge). The trek to the double-decker living root bridge starts from a tiny village named Tyrna. You will be joined by your guide here, who will guide you through quaint villages, turquoise natural pools, and gorgeous vegetation. At a brisk pace, it will take you more than an hour to reach the double-decker living root bridge. Once there, spend your time lazing around at the natural pool near the root bridge. Explore the area at your own place and then start your walk back. Remember, lunch in Nongriat will have to be either snacks and energy bars that you carry or simple noodles or local food available there. Post Lunch you can visit - Rainbow Waterfalls ; Ram Krishna Mission ; Siju Caves ; Wei Sawdong Water Falls. Overnight Stay in CHERRAPUNJI Hotel.

    DAWKI Tour -Mawlynnong →CHERRAPUNJI to DAWKI :- 3 hr 30 min (94.5 km)

Dawki is a picturesque town nestled near the Indo-Bangladesh border. The journey to this town is a delight as you it will take you through rolling hills and verdant landscapes, but the true highlight awaits at the Umngot River. Famous for its pristine, crystal-clear waters, the Umngot River offers a breathtaking view that has earned it the reputation of being one of the clearest rivers in the world. As you stand at its banks, it seems as though boats float effortlessly on air due to the transparency of the water. A boat ride on this river will leave you in awe of its serene beauty and the lush greenery surrounding it.As you enjoy the tranquillity of Dawki, it will be time to make your way towards the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’ – Mawlynnong. A globally known destination, this village stands as a shining example of community-led cleanliness and eco-friendly living. Mawlynnong will welcome you with its flower-lined pathways, bamboo houses, and an overall sense of peace. While here, don’t miss out on visiting the famous Living-Root Bridge, which is an incredible natural marvel where tree roots have been woven together by local tribes over centuries, forming a sturdy bridge that is both functional and symbolic of man’s harmony with nature.The sight of the balancing rock in Mawlynnong will also catch all your attention! Imagine a large boulder being placed perfectly on top of a smaller stone; it seems like someone has meticulously placed the boulder on the smaller stone. However, this is a natural phenomenon that strongly defies the laws of gravity. You need to see this balancing rock to believe it!Mawlynnong is a quaint village tucked on a small hill overlooking the Bangladesh plains. But before we head there, we will take a detour towards the India – Bangladesh border at Dawki. Here, you can experience boating on the transparent waters (not included) and have your lunch on a river island of the Umngkot River.
