Day 1
Arrival in GUWAHATI.
Welcome to Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India! Upon arrival at GUWAHATI Airport/Railway Station, our representative will warmly receive you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, as time permits, proceed for a brief city tour of GUWAHATI . Visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, a prominent cultural centre showcasing the rich heritage, traditions, art, and culture of Assam. You may also visit Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Temple, followed by a visit to a Heritage Park, offering a pleasant introduction to the cultural and natural charm of Guwahati. GUWAHATI TEMPLE TOUR with Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Island & Brahmaputra River Cruise
Begin your day early with a spiritual journey to Maa Kamakhya Temple, situated atop Nilachal Hill. One of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India, the temple is an important centre of Shakti worship and attracts devotees from across the country and beyond. To make your darshan more convenient, a special darshan pass may be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability. After seeking blessings at Kamakhya Temple, continue your temple tour with visits to :→ • Bhubaneshwari Temple – Located on the hill above Kamakhya, offering beautiful panoramic views of Guwahati. • Chinnamasta Temple – A spiritually significant shrine associated with the tantric traditions of the Kamakhya region. • Maa Bagala Temple – Another important temple in the Kamakhya Temple complex dedicated to Maa Bagalamukhi. • Umananda Temple – Located on Umananda Island in the middle of the mighty Brahmaputra River.
